AN EVENING DEDICATED TO MEADOWS, ART, AND BIODIVERSITY<\/h3>\n

On April 6, 2024, at 8:30 PM, an informative evening entitled “Stable Meadows: History, Traditions, Conservation, and Valorization” was held at the Cataloging Center of the Magredi in S. Quirino.<\/p>\n

The event began with a multivision presentation on the biodiversity of the Magredi by Luca Pontel, a well-known nature photographer of the area.<\/p>\n

This was followed by a presentation of the Milk, Honey, and Meadow Bloom Supply Chain Project, by Stefano Fabian – Biodiversity Service of the FVG Region.<\/p>\n

This was followed by an interview with Caterina De Boni, who, through the presentation of her book “A passo di pecora” (A Sheep’s Pace), spoke about her experience of shepherding as a woman and her collaboration with the Region in the recovery, enhancement, and improvement of an abandoned meadow within the framework of the two LIFE M. Grasslands and LIFE PollinAction projects.<\/p>\n

The presentations were accompanied by live drawings by the artist Paolo Cossi and folk music performed by Caterina De Boni and Luca Pontel themselves.<\/p>\n

The evening, moderated by journalist Alessandra Beltrame, was attended by a large audience of about a hundred people.<\/p>\n
